Summary

Vantage has launched native Business Metrics imports for GCP BigQuery and ClickHouse Cloud, enabling customers to query operational measures such as subscribers, billable events, AI invocations, revenue, or usage directly from those systems and use them alongside cloud-cost data. The integrations replace custom API pipelines and manual CSV exports, importing available historical data at setup and refreshing metrics daily. Imported metrics can support unit-cost, usage-unit-cost, gross-margin, and raw-value reporting in Cost Reports, while labeled dimensions can be used to allocate shared costs through Virtual Tags. BigQuery imports require SQL queries that return date and value columns, while ClickHouse imports use saved Query API endpoints, require start and end date parameters, and are limited to 100,000 rows per month and 25 seconds of query duration. The feature is available without an additional Vantage charge to customers with the relevant connected cost integrations, although query compute continues to be billed by BigQuery or ClickHouse.
