Vantage Launches Microsoft Azure Cost Support

Vantage has announced the general availability of its support for Microsoft Azure costs, allowing customers to securely integrate Azure with Vantage to manage, visualize, and optimize their cloud expenses. This expansion means that Vantage now supports all three major cloud providers—AWS, GCP, and Azure—alongside service providers like Snowflake, Datadog, and Fastly. Customers who previously could not manage Azure costs through Vantage can now do so, whether they are solely using Azure or operating in a multi-cloud environment. The integration is accessible to all users, including those on the free tier, and involves a straightforward setup process that utilizes Azure's service principal with Reader role permissions. Vantage enables users to access cost data via a secure, read-only connection, offering features like unified cost views, cost report summaries, and anomaly detection for Azure. While some features like the Savings Planner and Active Resource support are not yet available for Azure, they are on the roadmap, with users encouraged to contact support for early access. Additionally, Vantage integrates with Azure Active Directory for user management and supports API and notification integrations for seamless cost management.
