Vantage Launches KPI Widgets: Highlight Key Metrics on Dashboards

Vantage has launched KPI Widgets for Dashboards, enabling FinOps, finance, engineering, and executive users to display headline cost, usage, efficiency, budget, and business metrics as prominent single-value indicators alongside detailed reports. Widgets can draw data from Cost Reports, Business Metrics, Budgets, Financial Commitment Reports, and Kubernetes Efficiency Reports, displaying a primary value, relevant date range, and, where applicable, period-over-period or budget-status indicators. They follow dashboard dates, periods, and filters differently depending on the source, while Cost Report widgets support sum or average calculations for cost, usage, and count metrics. Dashboard Editors and Owners can create and manage widgets through the Vantage console, with Cost Report KPI widgets also supported through the API, Terraform, and FinOps Agent tools; there is no extra charge, although widgets count toward the 50-widget dashboard limit.
