Vantage Launches Grouped Charts

Vantage has introduced a new "Group By" functionality in its Cost Reports, allowing users to segment and analyze cloud costs by various dimensions such as AWS Service, AWS Account, or GCP Project. This feature enhances the existing Cumulative and Daily chart types by providing a more detailed view of cost data, enabling users to identify and investigate cost anomalies more efficiently. The "Group By" toggle, which is available to all Vantage customers at no additional cost, offers a dropdown list of dimensions for users to choose from, and updates charts to reflect the selected dimension in a bar chart format. Additionally, users can view specific daily costs grouped by the chosen dimension, with the option to share views via URL for collaborative analysis. Vantage plans to expand the list of available dimensions over time, and the feature is designed to simplify cost tracking and optimization across cloud services.
