Vantage Launches Dynamic Forecasting

Vantage has introduced Dynamic Forecasting, a feature that enables customers to align their cloud cost forecasts with projected business growth by incorporating future Business Metrics. This feature allows users to upload projections such as subscriber numbers or application requests, which Vantage then integrates into forward-looking cloud cost forecasts. The tool enhances the traditional time-series model by considering business growth expectations, allowing for projections like anticipated year-over-year growth or spikes related to product launches. Users can manage these forecasts via a new "Forecasts" tab in Cost Reports, selecting between a baseline forecast based on historical trends and a Business Metric-influenced forecast that considers future projections. Dynamic Forecasting aims to provide more accurate cloud cost predictions, ensuring that engineering and finance teams are aligned as a business scales, and it is available at no additional cost to Vantage's Enterprise customers.
