Vantage Launches Datadog Support

Vantage has announced the integration of Datadog costs into its console, marking Datadog as its fifth supported service provider alongside AWS, GCP, Snowflake, and Fastly. This integration allows Vantage users to automatically ingest and visualize Datadog costs such as Container Monitoring, APM, and Logging, providing a comprehensive view of infrastructure costs. The platform supports all Vantage users, including those on the free tier, although Datadog costs will contribute to monthly tracked cost quotas, potentially requiring plan upgrades if limits are exceeded. Users can connect their Datadog accounts via OAuth, with Vantage refreshing cost data daily, and the service provides detailed cost visualization by service and category. Additionally, Vantage plans to expand its support to include services like Azure, MongoDB Atlas, and Databricks, addressing the increasing reliance on multiple service providers by customers who often utilize five or more infrastructure providers.
