This feature enables Vantage customers to see detailed breakdowns of Databricks costs by service, account, and tag, providing a comprehensive view of their expenditures. By granting Vantage read-only access to Databricks billable usage logs, users can automatically ingest and visualize these costs, which are updated daily. The integration supports multiple Databricks accounts and allows users to filter cost reports by various dimensions, such as service and cluster, helping organizations manage infrastructure and consumption-based costs more effectively. This addition is available to all Vantage users, including those on the free tier, and aims to simplify the complex process of tracking Databricks expenses across different cloud environments.
