Vantage Launches AI-Powered Custom Providers: Upload Costs in Any Format

Vantage has introduced an enhancement to its Custom Provider integration, allowing customers to upload billing CSVs in their existing formats without the need for manual reformatting to the FinOps FOCUS format. This new feature leverages AI to automatically map and convert data from non-FOCUS-supported formats, simplifying the process for users who previously had to manually transform data files. The enhancement aims to reduce errors and streamline cost reporting for organizations managing multiple vendor formats, particularly those without billing APIs. Customers can upload their cost files via the Vantage console, where the AI inspects and maps the relevant columns to the FOCUS format, providing a preview for validation. This service is available to all Vantage customers without additional cost, although it may affect quota tier limits if custom costs exceed current tiers. The system supports CSV uploads up to 10,000 rows or 2MB in size, with data aggregated to a daily level, and utilizes OpenAI for data processing.
