Vantage Launches Additional Azure Cost Recommendations

Vantage has expanded its offerings by introducing new Azure cost recommendations for services such as Blob Storage Reserved Instances and Virtual Machine Rightsizing, available to users with Azure connected as a provider. These recommendations, displayed on the Cost Recommendations page in the Vantage console, provide detailed information and projected savings for users looking to optimize their Azure workloads. Previously, users had to access Azure Advisor for such insights, but now Vantage profiles workloads automatically and updates recommendations accordingly, offering resource-level reports for comprehensive inventory management. This new feature comes at no additional cost to users, though specifics are limited for those on a free trial, and no notifications for new recommendations are currently provided.
