Vantage Launches a Remote MCP Server
Blog post from Vantage
Vantage has introduced a Remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server hosted on Cloudflare, enabling AI agents to access and interact with cloud cost data without requiring customers to manage their own infrastructure. This new offering allows users to integrate AI agents like Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and Cursor with their cost and usage data seamlessly, using familiar authorization flows and providing built-in OAuth authentication and secure transport. Unlike the earlier self-hosted MCP version, the remote MCP server is fully managed by Vantage, eliminating the need for infrastructure deployment or version management. The Remote MCP Server supports the same functionalities as the local version, such as querying costs and listing cost reports, and is compatible with various AI agents that offer MCP Client functionality. Vantage ensures that prompts remain isolated within AI agent environments, maintaining user privacy and security. The service is available to all Vantage customers at no additional cost and is subject to Vantage's API rate limits.
