Vantage Launches a Data Export API

Vantage has introduced a new Data Export API, enabling users to programmatically retrieve CSV exports of Cost Report data, a feature that was previously only accessible via the Vantage user interface. This development allows developers and finance teams to integrate cost data exports into internal tools or use them for AI model training, addressing the previous limitation of being unable to obtain a complete data dump for large datasets. The API supports both predefined datasets and custom exports through direct API calls with filter criteria, facilitating efficient processing of extensive cost information. The service is available at no cost to all Vantage users, including those on the free tier, and requires authentication via a Vantage API token. The exported data can be accessed and downloaded from a public S3 bucket using a shareable URL, which remains valid until a specified expiration date, with no limit on download frequency before expiration.
