Vantage Expands the FinOps Agent with Anomaly Investigation, Response Feedback, and New Capabilities
Blog post from Vantage
Vantage has announced updates to its FinOps Agent, enhancing its capabilities to investigate anomalies directly within Slack, provide more reliable responses, and automate additional FinOps workflows without needing to switch back to the Vantage console. Launched in November 2025, the FinOps Agent was designed to automate manual financial operations tasks such as cost inquiries and spend investigations. The new updates allow users to explore and manage Vantage data in greater detail, offering action-oriented capabilities like creating and managing cost reports, budgets, and dashboards. The integration with Slack includes a feedback mechanism to improve response relevance and a guided workflow for anomaly investigation, making it easier for customers to understand changes and their causes. These enhancements aim to provide Vantage users with a comprehensive interface for operational workflows, with no additional cost for the improvements.
