Vantage Enhances Access Controls for Managed Service Providers

Vantage has introduced enhanced access controls for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) through the launch of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) for Managed Accounts and inherited permissions for Management Users accessing Managed Accounts. These enhancements enable more granular access control, allowing MSPs to define access based on Teams, thereby improving operational control and security. Previously, access was restricted to users with Owner or Integration Owner roles, but now users inherit their roles from the Management Account, maintaining consistent permissions when accessing Managed Accounts. This update allows MSPs to assign access based on the principle of least privilege, ensuring users can only view and manage the accounts they are responsible for. These new features are available at no additional cost to all eligible Vantage MSP customers and can be set up through the Teams or Managed Accounts section in Partner Settings.
