Introducing the Vantage FinOps Agent

Vantage has introduced the FinOps Agent, an AI-powered tool designed to automate cloud cost management by proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities. This innovative agent integrates with Slack, allowing users to interact naturally and manage cloud expenses through automated analysis and remediation, while also generating detailed cost reports. By reducing the need for continuous human intervention, the FinOps Agent addresses limitations of traditional methods, which often result in delayed savings and missed opportunities. Users can configure the agent to operate autonomously or require human approval, with all actions logged for transparency. Initially supporting AWS, the FinOps Agent plans to expand to other cloud providers and offers a pricing model based on a percentage of the savings achieved. The tool is currently available to paying Vantage customers, with free unlimited conversations until February 1, 2026.
