Enforce MFA for your organization, reduce the risk of unauthorized access
Blog post from Upsun
Upsun has introduced a new security feature that mandates the use of multifactor authentication (MFA) for accessing organizational resources, enhancing the protection of projects and data. This update requires all organization members to activate MFA on their accounts to use resources via SSH or API, including through the Upsun console and CLI. MFA provides an additional security layer by requiring multiple identity verification methods, thereby substantially reducing the risk of unauthorized access. Organization administrators have the flexibility to enable or disable this requirement and can send email reminders to users who have not yet complied. This feature is available with the User Management add-on for Upsun and for all Enterprise/Elite organizations on Platform.sh, and it underscores Upsun's commitment to maintaining high security standards.
