App management for Orange Business Services' SMB customers

Platform.sh, now known as Upsun, has expanded its collaboration with Orange Cloud for Business, securing a significant contract to migrate and manage over 6,000 websites for Orange Business Services' SMB customers. This partnership enhances site management, developer experience, and cost efficiency by transitioning websites from shared hosting to standalone projects on the Platform.sh Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). The initiative aims to streamline Orange's web hosting services and support digital transformation efforts by leveraging advanced PaaS capabilities, ultimately relaunching Orange's Flexible Web Publisher as a 'CMS as a Service'. This expansion follows three years of collaboration and is designed to benefit both small and large enterprises by improving productivity and reducing operational costs. Platform.sh provides automated updates, backups, and a unique instant-cloning system, integrating seamlessly with Orange's offerings to deliver a cohesive user experience. With a global presence and a client list including prominent brands like Pinterest and The British Council, Platform.sh supports over 5,000 clients and their developers worldwide.
