Unified's MCP Server
Blog post from Unified.to
Unified has introduced an MCP server on May 24, 2025, designed to link any Unified connection to Large Language Model (LLM) providers that support the latest MCP protocols. This server facilitates live execution of MCP tool calls against the source API without caching or storing end-customer data, ensuring data handling is controlled by scoped permissions and tool allow-listing. It enables end-customers to engage with LLMs using authorized tools and allows product and support teams to debug Unified connections while maintaining privacy and data security. Unified offers options to limit tools, define permissions, and exclude sensitive data from responses, with the MCP protocol anticipated to advance rapidly and gain wider support for the Streamable HTTP transport protocol. Example use-cases include listing job candidates, updating application statuses, and summarizing reports, with further details available on Unified's documentation site.
