Unified has introduced a new Verification API as part of its Unified API platform, which streamlines identity validation, professional license confirmation, candidate assessments, and background or criminal checks through a singular, standardized API. This API supports integration with various prominent providers, including Certn, Checkr, Verifiable, First Advantage, and Yardstik, and offers comprehensive verification services across industries such as confirming driver's licenses, passports, criminal backgrounds, and employment histories. The Verification API is tailored for recruiting, HR, and fintech sectors, enabling seamless integration with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and fintech applications to automate and streamline candidate and employee verification processes. The API leverages Unified's real-time, zero-storage infrastructure, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and CCPA standards while reducing security risks. It offers multiple delivery models, including API, webhooks, and database sync, making it a versatile tool for embedding verification into existing workflows without additional security liabilities.
