It’s alive! Tyk Cloud in open beta

Tyk Cloud has launched its open beta, offering a cloud-based version of the Tyk API management service, which provides a secure, scalable, and user-friendly way for developers to manage their APIs. This new cloud platform allows users to quickly start using Tyk without needing to install or manage their own backend infrastructure, as Tyk handles it all. The move to a cloud model is seen as a natural evolution for the product, building on its previous transition from a licensed model to a free, community-driven development approach. Tyk Cloud is designed to showcase the capabilities of the Tyk REST and Advanced Management APIs, serving as both a proof of concept and a testbed for continued innovation. While the open-source version of Tyk will continue to receive updates, the cloud platform accelerates development and offers fair and accessible usage tiers without high costs, enabling users to get started with their first API in just 15 minutes.
