Tyk has recently introduced several new features and capabilities to enhance its universal API management solution. The platform now natively supports the OpenAPI Specification (OAS), allowing users to deploy directly from their OAS API definitions onto the Tyk Gateway, simplifying API creation and configuration. The API Designer in Tyk Dashboard has been revamped for better usability, and API templating has been introduced for faster API definition creation. Observability has been improved with the integration of OpenTelemetry, enabling end-to-end distributed tracing to enhance API monitoring and reduce mean time to resolution. Tyk has also advanced APIOps by improving Tyk Operator for easier CI/CD integrations and Tyk Sync for seamless API movement between environments, thus strengthening security and efficiency. Additionally, Tyk Streams supports event-driven architecture use cases, allowing businesses to manage real-time events through a single API management solution. Tyk continues to support clients with an API platform maturity model and workshops to optimize their use of these new features.
