API Designer, RestPoint, wins funding from Tyk’s Side Project Fund!
Blog post from Tyk
Tyk's Side Project Fund, aimed at fostering innovative projects, has recognized Bryan MacLean's RestPoint, an API designer tool, as a winner. Bryan, a developer by profession, created RestPoint to simplify the process of designing APIs by addressing usability challenges and providing a platform for prototyping, akin to test-driving a concept car in the auto industry. Despite facing time and technical challenges, especially during the pandemic, Bryan managed to develop RestPoint and make it freely available online, using feedback to continuously refine it. The funding from Tyk will help improve RestPoint's website, enhancing user experience. Bryan's vision for the next five years is for RestPoint to be widely used, focusing on creating solid foundations for APIs, and he encourages others to persistently tackle problems with their side projects.
