Twingate has announced the introduction of Ephemeral Access policies, allowing customers to set an expiration time for Groups granted access to Resources. This feature enables organizations to implement dynamic least privilege access that keeps pace with their dynamic world, reducing vectors of attack for malicious actors and automating access provisioning and deprovisioning. With this innovation, Twingate is taking a step closer to making least privilege access fully automated, keeping sensitive resources protected without adding time-consuming overhead for admin teams. The feature complements Twingate's existing approach to network architecture, leveraging direct peer-to-peer connections behind firewalls, and supports fine-grain access policies based on identity, device, and context with integrations from major IdPs, MDMs, EDRs, and native device posture checks.
