Twilio has expanded its Interconnect Exchange into Asia Pacific with the addition of a new location in Sydney, Australia, providing customers with private network connectivity options for improved quality, security, and network performance. The new exchange offers various connection methods such as cross-connect, VPN, and Bring-Your-Own-MPLS, and supports Elastic SIP Trunking and Voice WebRTC. Interconnect is designed to meet the needs of businesses that require mission-critical voice quality, offering scalability, direct access for sensitive data management, and network security. The expansion into APAC follows Twilio's previous launch in Europe and aims to provide better call quality options around the world.
