Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is an email authentication standard that allows companies to display their verified brand logo alongside emails in recipients' inboxes, enhancing trust, visibility, and brand recognition. To implement BIMI using SendGrid, organizations must integrate Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) with stricter settings, ensure their brand logo is a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file hosted on their domain, and optionally obtain a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) for broader email client support. The process involves configuring domain authentication, DMARC, and adding specific DNS records to align with SendGrid's requirements, ultimately increasing deliverability and trustworthiness of email communications.
