Twilio has launched a major update to its Twilio Client with the Presence API, which enables developers to add presence-awareness to their applications with ease. The new Presence API allows users to integrate presence information into their apps using a single method, making it simpler and more efficient than traditional implementations. This feature is now available for all existing and new accounts, providing users with features such as call routing, buddy lists, and alerts for specific users. Additionally, Twilio Client Presence has been integrated with OpenVBX, enabling seamless browser-to-browser calls based on who is online at any given point in time.
