Meet John Sheehan – Hero Maker John Sheehan was inspired to work at Twilio after reading about the company on TechCrunch in 2008. He had been thinking of building a project that required voice and SMS capabilities, but couldn't invest in the necessary infrastructure. Twilio changed his plans, and he has since built several projects with it, including winning a developer contest. Sheehan is now a Developer Evangelist at Twilio, where he aims to help developers get the most out of the platform by creating blog posts, example applications, and tutorials. As a Developer Evangelist, Sheehan will be active in online communities such as Stack Overflow, Hacker News, Twitter, and his own blog, attending conferences and meetups to promote Twilio's features and connect with developers.
