Google is hosting a Chrome Extensions Developer Contest where developers can create extensions that use the Twilio APIs to add new functionality and features to Google Chrome browsers. The contest runs from April 26th to May 9th, with a deadline of 11:59pm on Sunday, May 9th for submissions. The first place winner will receive a Netbook from Twilio and $100 in Twilio developer credit, while additional prizes are yet to be announced. Developers can get started by checking out the gallery of existing Chrome Extensions, as well as tutorials and documentation provided by Google, including a tutorial on getting started with Chrome Extensions, Twilio Quickstarts for making calls and receiving calls, and an uploader tool for sharing extensions. The contest also features a community hub for developers to bounce ideas off each other and share resources.
