FastCustomer Uses Twilio’s Voice API to Make Short Work of Waiting on Hold
Blog post from Twilio
Aaron, a frustrated Comcast customer, was inspired to create FastCustomer, a voice app that uses Twilio's Voice API to make waiting on hold more efficient by automating tasks such as holding times, phone number lookup, and appointment scheduling. The app was built in an afternoon using Rails, MySQL, Apache, Passenger, and served from Rackspace Cloud. With plans to expand to Android and other iPhone versions, FastCustomer aims to reduce customer wait times and improve the overall customer experience by leveraging AI technology.
