In an effort to help businesses understand what their customers think, Buzzbeeper was developed as a result of the founder's experience in restaurants where feedback often went unheeded. The application aims to provide a simple way for customers to give feedback while they are sitting at a restaurant, including options to push good reviews to Yelp and other platforms. To achieve this, the founders utilized various technologies such as Heroku, Twilio, Amazon S3, and others. The integration of Twilio proved to be smooth, thanks to its well-documented APIs, sample applications, and excellent technical support. By leveraging Twilio's features, such as built-in outbound queuing, Buzzbeeper aims to improve customer feedback and engagement experiences for businesses.
