Announcing General Availability of Twilio Generic Pay Connector
Blog post from Twilio
Twilio has announced that its Generic Pay Connector is now Generally Available. The connector allows developers to capture payments from customers over a phone call using Twilio's payment processing service and process them with their own payment processor of choice in a PCI-compliant manner, reducing the need for PCI compliance data. This solution caters to merchants who lack infrastructure or resources to handle voice-based payments, as well as payment processors seeking new marketing channels. The connector supports two transaction types: charge and tokenization, and accepts credit card and ACH-debit payments. It also features Test and Live modes for easy setup and configuration.
