How To Advocate For Yourself and Your Work

Twilio hosted a virtual event, Navigating Corporate Spaces, to help underrepresented groups in the tech community overcome challenges such as imposter syndrome and lack of representation. The event featured two Black and Latinx professionals who shared practical tips for thriving in the workplace, including identifying and overcoming imposter syndrome, self-advocating at work, and building relationships with mentors, sponsors, and allies. These strategies emphasize the importance of self-awareness, confidence-building, and networking to overcome obstacles and achieve success.
