The Programmable Video DataTracks API is a new addition to the Programmable Video SDKs, allowing developers to share and synchronize real-time data among Room Participants. This API enables features such as shared whiteboarding, collaboration tools, and augmented reality apps by publishing real-time data messages between participants in a Programmable Video Room. The Media Sync API will soon be available to synchronize these messages with real-time audio and video streams, further expanding the capabilities of Programmable Video apps. DataTracks are already available in Android, iOS, and JavaScript SDKs today, and developers can learn more about them by checking out app samples, downloading the latest SDKs, and reading the DataTrack API guide. The pricing for DataTracks is as follows: in Peer-to-Peer Rooms, there's no additional cost to add DataTracks, while in Group Rooms, users will be charged $10.00 for every 1,000,000 messages sent through the Group Room.
