Copilot Just Got Even Smarter: Announcing Smart Encoding

Twilio has announced the release of Smart Encoding for Copilot, a new feature that automatically translates Unicode characters into GSM7/ASCII characters to prevent message concatenation. This feature is now enabled by default for all new Messaging Services and can be enabled for existing services with a simple console navigation. The goal of this feature is to simplify the development lifecycle by eliminating the need to manually check for Unicode characters in messages, reducing the risk of unnecessary segmentation and associated costs.
