The SIGNAL Scholarship Program is an initiative by Twitter to promote diversity in the tech industry. The program offers free conference tickets to individuals from underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, LGBTQIA individuals, those with disabilities, and veterans. Eligible applicants must submit a short paragraph explaining their interest in attending the event. Submissions are accepted until May 1st, 2017, and cover only the cost of the conference ticket, not travel or lodging expenses.
