Autism Speaks and Twilio are partnering to host an Autism Hackathon on July 20th-21st at Twilio's headquarters in San Francisco, where developers can come together to create innovative solutions for individuals with autism. The hackathon is personal for the event organizer, Josh Carter, whose son was diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified and has given him a fighting chance to thrive through technological advancements and equal access to services. By joining forces, Twilio and Autism Speaks aim to promote awareness and support for individuals with autism, and to empower developers to create solutions that can improve their lives.
