Maebe is a new app built during Music Hack Day 2013 by Ian Rogers, CEO of digital music service Daisy, in collaboration with artists Trent Reznor and the Beastie Boys. The app allows users to dial in to leave messages for specific artists, with download links provided for newly released tracks. Maebe uses Twilio technology to facilitate communication between users and artists. Additional features are being developed, including a music recommendation hotline and artist support hotlines.
