Trigger.dev v3 Developer Preview is now available

Trigger.dev v3 is a serverless workflow platform designed to simplify and enhance the execution of long-running tasks without timeouts, now available as a developer preview. Built on extensive user feedback, it offers features like Stateful Serverless to freeze and unfreeze code execution, only charging for active processing time. The platform enhances reliability by automatically retrying failed tasks and provides comprehensive observability through OpenTelemetry, allowing users to monitor task executions in real-time. Trigger.dev supports open-source contributions via an Apache 2 licensed GitHub repository and offers flexible deployment options, including self-hosting with Docker. While currently invite-only and free, the service is set to offer various pricing plans, and it includes a range of features with more in development, such as webhook integrations and rollback capabilities.
