The latest release of TimescaleDB 1.2 marks a significant milestone in its journey to become a self-sustaining open-source business, with the addition of community and enterprise features. The new release includes ordered appends, PG11 support out of beta, time-series analytical functions, data reordering, automated data lifecycle management, and more. The community edition is available for free under an Apache 2.0 license, while the enterprise edition requires a paid Commercial License.
