How to Allowlist testRigor IP Addresses in Google reCAPTCHA
Blog post from testRigor
Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise can block automated testRigor traffic by assigning low risk scores or presenting challenges during protected flows such as login, sign-up, and checkout. For applications using reCAPTCHA keys managed in their own Google Cloud project, teams can allowlist testRigor IP addresses or subnets, causing requests from those sources to bypass verification and receive a 0.9 score. Setup requires the current testRigor IP list, the relevant reCAPTCHA key and Google Cloud project ID, appropriate reCAPTCHA Enterprise Admin permissions, and either the Google Cloud CLI or REST API; each allowlist supports up to 1,000 entries. IP overrides can be added and verified through gcloud commands or Google’s API, typically taking effect within minutes, after which teams should run tests through protected pages and confirm the expected behavior. Because allowlisting affects all traffic from included IPs, it is recommended primarily for test or staging keys, and users routing traffic through a proxy, tunnel, or VPN must allowlist the public exit IP rather than relying on backend-provided user IP fields.
