Link Linear Issues With Test Manager

Test Manager integrates with Linear to link issues directly to test cases, test runs, individual run instances, or specific failed steps, reducing the need to manually reconcile defect and testing tools during triage and release reviews. The many-to-many relationship allows multiple issues on one artifact and one issue across multiple artifacts, while preventing duplicate links. After connecting a selected Linear workspace and projects, users can link issues by ID or URL, view live Linear details such as status, priority, type, and creator within Test Manager, and open the original issue in Linear. Issue information is fetched dynamically rather than stored, with defined handling for unavailable, archived, deleted, or disconnected Linear records; links persist through temporary disconnection and reappear when the same workspace and projects are reconnected. Users can also safely unlink an issue from Test Manager without altering the Linear record, supporting precise traceability between test evidence and defects.
