July’22 Updates: Live With LT Debug, XCUITest, Brave Browser, And More!

In July 2022, LambdaTest introduced several updates and features to enhance its platform for developers and testers, including the launch of the LT Debug Chrome extension for efficient web page debugging and the addition of the Brave browser for comprehensive cross-browser testing. Support for the XCUITest framework was also rolled out, enabling iOS app testing on real devices, complemented by features like parallel testing and integration with CI/CD tools. The platform added Android Debug Bridge (adb) for real-time Android app testing and expanded its automation testing capabilities, including a revamped Desired Capability Generator and support for the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers. New visual regression testing tools, such as SmartUI, allow users to compare screenshots across different browsers and detect visual deviations. Additionally, the integration with Siesta enhances web automation, further broadening testing capabilities across various browsers and operating systems.
