The Tessell Alternative to Oracle Database Services for Microsoft Azure

In the early 2000s, Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer dismissed Oracle as a competitor to SQL Server, but two decades later, Microsoft and Oracle announced a significant cloud partnership at Microsoft Inspire 2022, allowing Oracle databases to be deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure via the Azure portal. This partnership reflects Oracle's desire to leverage Microsoft's vast customer base, while Microsoft seeks to enhance Azure's Oracle DB operational experience, although Tessell provides an alternative with potentially better performance and functionality for Microsoft customers.
