The latest release introduces several new features and enhancements for Tessell's Exadata infrastructure support on AWS, such as effortless database provisioning, database cloning across environments, and unified backup and restore capabilities. Tessell now allows automatic log rotation for Windows services to prevent disk space issues and service failures, with logs automatically rotated at 20MB and older files cleaned up every two hours. Additionally, the update provides SQL Server master users with automatic sysadmin server role access to simplify database management and enhance operational control, aligning with industry-standard DBaaS offerings. Customers will benefit from improved governance through scoped subscription support for the script library, allowing granular access control and operational flexibility. New monitoring metrics for MySQL and InnoDB Cluster services improve detection of database restarts, cluster node health issues, and unexpected read-only states, ensuring better visibility and faster troubleshooting during outages or configuration anomalies.
