Tessell provides a variety of cloud database deployment options to cater to different customer needs concerning data security, compliance, and workload management. These options include Professional, Business, Virtual Private Tessell (VPT), and VPT @ Customer, each offering varying degrees of control over the data and control planes to meet specific requirements. The Professional option is fully managed by Tessell and suits individuals or small-scale users, while the Business option provides additional customization for small to medium businesses. VPT offers a dedicated data plane for medium to large enterprises needing data isolation, and VPT @ Customer caters to large enterprises with stringent compliance requirements by allowing them to host the data plane on their own infrastructure. Additionally, a Shared Control Plane (SCP) model is available for businesses with fewer databases or those exploring the platform, where resources are shared among multiple tenants to reduce management costs.
