Temporal Cloud has announced the general availability of Multi-region Replication, alongside the public preview of Same-region Replication, enhancing its High Availability (HA) offerings aimed at ensuring operational continuity and satisfying rigorous availability requirements. Temporal Cloud is built with reliability at its core, offering a 99.9% service level agreement (SLA) against service errors for all namespaces, with an option to enable HA features for a 99.99% SLA. The HA features ensure workflows remain operational even during disruptions by automatically synchronizing data between a primary and a replica, with seamless failover to the replica if needed. Multi-region Replication, now generally available, allows workflows to be replicated across different regions, supporting organizations with multi-regional architectures or high availability requirements. Meanwhile, Same-region Replication, in public preview, enables replication within the same region, offering a reliable failover mechanism. Future plans include pricing adjustments for multi-region replication and the introduction of Multi-cloud Replication, which will allow workflow replication across cloud providers, further enhancing Temporal Cloud's commitment to providing robust solutions for business-critical workflows.
