World of Tavily: Where We Started, Where We’re Going
Blog post from Tavily
Tavily describes its growth from an API designed to give AI agents reliable, real-time web access into an agentic-search platform used by more than 3 million developers and processing over 100 million monthly requests. After joining AI cloud company Nebius in February, Tavily expanded its enterprise presence, citing uses in anti-money-laundering research, cybersecurity, account research, and AI-agent training by organizations including Mastercard, BMO, Bell Cyber, Rox, and NVIDIA. At its World of Tavily event in San Francisco, the company presented its vision of a web increasingly structured for agents that search, verify, and synthesize information rather than browse pages, while highlighting integrations with Nebius and LangChain, a startup program offering credits and engineering support, and demonstrations of real-time research workflows. Tavily also emphasized that web search may become part of how agents improve after training, pointing to NVIDIA’s use of approximately 80,000 live web research runs to create training data for a model that ranked first on DeepResearch Bench.
