Introducing Tabnine inline actions: Boost coding efficiency with seamless inline responses

Tabnine has introduced a new feature called "inline actions" designed to enhance AI coding tasks by allowing developers to work directly on selected code snippets within their integrated development environment (IDE). Inline actions build on Tabnine's existing tools, such as AI code completions and AI chat, by enabling AI-generated edits, documentation, and refactoring to be implemented directly within the code, allowing developers to accept, modify, or reject changes in real-time. This feature aims to streamline the development process by maintaining the flow of work and reducing latency. Inline actions are currently embedded in VS Code and JetBrains IDEs, with plans to expand support to additional platforms. Developers can initiate these actions through keyboard shortcuts or menu selections, and the feature supports integration with various AI models, providing tailored recommendations based on the user's coding context. The new functionality is available to all Tabnine SaaS customers, and users can update their IDE plug-ins to start using it.
