Swimm's release 0.4.0 focuses on enhancing the code documentation experience for developers by introducing features like syncing text with code through slash “/” commands and an inline file referencing system that stays updated with the codebase. The update also includes a significant reorganization of the app structure, emphasizing the team Workspace, which helps teams build knowledge by adding repositories, inviting contributors, and generating content lists. Swimm Docs has been refined to allow documentation to be integrated seamlessly into the development process, offering a robust editor for adding snippets directly from repositories. Swimm Exercises have become a standalone feature, providing a hands-on learning environment by transforming repositories into sandbox environments for interactive CLI experiences. Bug fixes addressed issues with playlist functionality, UI disruptions caused by long file names, and code highlight support for more languages, while future enhancements will include the ability to export swm files to Markdown.
