It aims to empower developers by allowing them to reflect on their contributions and career goals while offering managers a balanced view of performance without relying on potentially harmful metrics such as lines of code or PR throughput. The tool emphasizes individual assessment over direct comparison and ensures that both developers and managers have equal access to this information to foster a healthy work environment. Swarmia encourages feedback to refine this feature further and offers a trial for those new to the platform.
