Svix’s August update introduces release candidates for version 2 of its SDKs and CLI, which rename update operations to upsert, replace filterTypes with eventTypes, and remove deprecated functionality ahead of the stable launch. The company released a new polling endpoints API that integrates with SDK AutoConfigConsumer support, expanded Webhooks AutoConfig with a GitHub Action for CI-driven endpoint synchronization and support for polling endpoints, and enhanced Svix Ingest to forward source URL path segments and query parameters through headers or transformations. Other additions include S3 advanced endpoints for Pro customers, local-time display options in the dashboard, prebuilt connectors for self-hosted Enterprise deployments, FIPS 140-3 Enterprise builds based on Chainguard images, and Diom HTTP sinks that forward topic messages to configurable HTTP destinations. Svix also disclosed an SSRF bypass vulnerability, noting that cloud customers were unaffected while open-source users should upgrade to version 1.98.0 or later.
